So, any updates about Gackt?

Is it just me, or does Miyavi look taller than Gackt in this picture?
I thought that Miyavi was shorter than Gackt...

:) I am new here, because I want to let people hear OUR music. I just recently came in touch with Gackt and loving every minute of it. I started reading this post and found about the bassplayer in MY band being outlawed of HIS music. (Thats Joost, yes !)

I see photo's of look-a-likes NOT being outlawed, so I asked this question..

I believe your words are true but I dont completely agree with what you have said..The two things that you are talking about are quite.. seperated issues..

Looking like Gackt is something natural, you cant control it, because you were born in that way!
But sounding like Gackt.. you can control it, and you develop it dont you?? It does not come naturally or so..

Of course inspiring from Gackt is amazing! And I am sure Gackt would be very proud to hear that he is inspiring the young rockers! Thats awesome.. But at some points, "some people" tried/try to.. obviously immitate him.. thats what we were talking about and complaning about..

Other than that we are more than happy to hear that great Gackt is an inspiration god ne??

I do agree with you in a way...but there are a lot of people who try to look like their idols (and even do operations to reach that goal !) Even dressing the same is in my opinion copy-cat behaviour. :)

But making music...I am inspired by Nightwish (search youtube if you do not know ;) ) and yes, some of my music has quite a few similarities. but it is still my own heart that speaks !

What Joost (and a lot of other musicians do it all the time ;) ) did was pouring his GACKT-heart into his own music, and since music comes from the heart...it is no surprise that it sounded alike. As far as I am concerned or know, he didn't cover or imitate any of the excisting GACKT songs....like copy-cats who dress-up DO... ? :)

And as far as cannot help looking like someone...that is always a choice of your own. :confused:

@ ReiIsMyAlterEgo since we have sorted out that I am Joop, we are both bitches in our own little evil way, and I did not deserve such a "warm"welcome....I edited my post to be more...user friendly...I would respect it if you would do that likewise ;)

Besides I agree with you Joop but we both know that, not all people think in that way or do it in that way.. and what I tried to mention is, get inspiration, but create your own style! ^-^ that way other people would inspire from you in the future ^-^ hope I wasnt misunderstood.. ^^
