I've heard it's just the American way to say it. also if you take Gilgamesh, and put it into Japanese, of course the l changes to r, and you have to add a u.
But if there's a better more concise or something, explanation, the guys in the guys probably would know it better. So, maybe ask them? |

Uh, Nan, I think the 'tsu' is a little tsu, and just lengthens 'shu' to 'sshu' instead of having it's own value. That just makes more sense to me, idk.
