Muay Boran, and I find Vovinam pretty interesting, but they don't have either of those on this here island, so I cannot practice Vovinam because of its complexity, and the Muay Boran is what I can find in videos/pictures.

Nice. What's your wrestling background?

Is this in referance to Aikido? Just becuase we dont intend to fight each other and train for other reasons doesn't mean its going to be found wanting.

And found wanting at what?

Found wanting in practical application. And I was not necessarily talking about Aikido, although in too many cases it does apply there.

hello i am practising a martial art like nunchakou right now and aiikido in my child and i am going to practising how to use 2 saii in the same time and having another one in by back.:tongu:rheart: What do you think about the 'ninjutsu' art? thank you.

It's true! You need to have someone you can practice with because imagine that one day, you're attacked. While training by yourself is not so bad, especially because it reinforces what is learned, if you are attacked, you don't have much time to think. How will you be able to change your circumstances? Can you block the person's attack and subdue them quickly? Do you know how to move and use your body correctly?

That's why I'd like to go to Thailand; not only will I be taught Muay Boran as it's supposed to be, but it will also correct what I might be doing wrong, and put an emphasis on those situations. I don't know how well I'll do against another because I've only hit the air in front of me. My muscles have seemingly gotten more developed, and I feel much better, but I need to know that I'm doing everything correctly. All I have is a bunch of banana trees, but they still produce bananas, and I feel it would be a waste to kick them.
