Dancing in Japan?

I take dancing lessons on my free time and wonder if there are any good places in Japan to take lessons (not proffessional just as a hobby). Is it rare or does it exist in several japanese cities? And in that case, what are the most common dancstyles?

Yes, there are classes. I have a friend there who just resumed studying salsa and there are national dance competitions.

Ah that's great! Though, aren't those all pair dances? I only consider dances that don't need a partner because I enjoy them the most, but if there's salsa I bet there's more. Thank you for replying. :D
