has anyone heard or tried this watersport?

I just recently joined a newly formed team here in Osaka. We call ourselves "RISE" . I don't know how they come up with the name though :D

nope... most of the competition are held during summer between july to september

there are some competition in spring though but rare since the water is still cold :vsign:

how to join?? first you need to be a female :D and be in Osaka Japan of course:vsign: . We are currently on women's category. I don't know if there is a plan to make another sister/brother team to join the open category.

We put up an email address, just contact us there, and try to join our weekly practice and then decide to join. Basically you need to be registered officially to the authority ( Japan's Dragonboat association ). Register fee varies depending on the length, there is 3 months, 6 months and 1 year ( 5K, 8K 12,000 yen respectively ).
