PS3 is the most high tech peice of hardware. Sony paid millions for the development of cell and RSX. IBM developed cell and nevedia RSX. I can post some cool pics if some one desires. ;)

Wii controls are odd because they've not fully figured out how to make them completely enjoyable. Again, the Wii has lots of potential that clearly aren't being used. PS3 are sticking to used concepts that they know will sell, and many third-party companies will rely on previous trademark titles.
As for the graphics, I think Nintendo already proved a point with the sales of the Wii that gameplay still is the most important aspect of a game, period. After that comes the music, sound effects and graphics in that order which enhance the gameplay experience, and the story and characters which give depth to the game (should there be a need for one). See how everything is used to enhance gameplay? I've played demos from PS3 such as Blast Factor and Motor Storm. Blast Factor was truly a blast, it's a very innovative, beautiful and wicked version of the old-time space-invader/asteroids. I can't wait for more innovative games from Capcom and Seeds. We don't see enough innovation nowadays. That's what I'm waiting for. We need new, fresh titles that offer a solid gaming experience. Remember Clover Studios? The games they made were innovation. <3 |
If you really want to view which console is the best then go for first party developers or the devs that are making exclusive. Multiplatform games will never look good and Devil May Cry 4 is a clear example of that. Check out games like Lair, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Ratchet and Clank etc. These are all first party games for PS3 and imho they're the best looking games around. :)
