What do I do when I'm in the doldrums? I buy games and play them. I've got my sights set on this little gem. It looks like a minature Super Smash Bros featuring characters from the Jump manga publications - which makes it doubleplusgood (Newspeak here, lol). Here is a clip.



Has anyone played it?

If I could read japanese, I would LOVE importing it.

Apparently very little knowledge of Japanese is required to enjoy the game. Anyway, I bought it. It should arrive in a few days :D

The game is great. I don't know any japanese and I figured it out and actually learned a little(not how to pronounce though). I used a guide on the internet when it came down to the real nitty gritty though. That and fining out which characters to upgrade. The game is extremely fun and addicting and you will spend hour after hour trying to get every character (I still don't have them all and I have had it close to a year).
Overall, it's like Super Smash Bros with stamina mode on (the characters have health bars) with a gazillion Jump character. I recomend fully upgrading luffy or ichigo, they are really good.
Also, another good import is Ganbare Goemon DS (mystical ninja). So fun!

Yea i play the game everyday and have actually learned some japanese such as back and basic commands. Im pretty good at this game my wi-fi record is like 580 to 115. But yea you will love this game. although its been out for awhile. I hope another sequel comes out soon.

Forgot totally about wi-fi, this'll make it 100X more awesome. Somehow I got it into my head that I could only use wi-fi for this game in Japan, probably because it's an exclusively Japanese title :P
