PSP or NDSL
which one do you prefer?
BTW i was amazed that most of the guys here in the china office know so little about these handheld gadgets while small children in our place are already using them :p |
I'll have to go with the PSP it has more of the games I like but only problem my hands fell asleep alot, the NDS was great too but not much action games. I actually owned both but sold them both around the same time.

PSP....
I can already hear the nintendo fans with the same old arguement, "Nintendo gets you more involved in the gaming experience" OMG, they gave you a PEN.. SO COOL!!! I used a DS once, and that was for Revenant Wings: FFXII, which btw, wasn't that good. I'll prolly use it only once more, for FFIV. anyway, go psp |
here in HK most that use the NDSL are girls or even middle aged people & could see 1 or 2 holding a PSP but for the guys & young boys PSP is the thing.
what can you do to a PSP that an NDS can't do & vice versa? |
I don't like the DS Lite, I like the original DS better. But I picked DS anyway because I prefer it over the PSP.
The reason? None of my friends have a PSP, barely anyone plays it round here. It's all about the DS where I am, we all play DS together. PSP is probably better if you just want to play by yourself, it also has some random extra features that someone might want aswell. DS is just more fun to play and more long lasting and new, PSP is just a gameboy with nicer graphics. |
Both are excellent gaming systems, and both have kickass games. I can't decide.

GameBoy>NDSL>PSP

i love my DS as much as i love my PSP. but just like the wii has a more interactive controller than a ps3, it's the same thing with the DS. the only thing better is that stylus. otherwise, my PSP has a lot more uses than my DS. so i had to go with PSP.
sorry DS. T^T |
once you hack your PSP, there's a ton of stuff you could do with it that you could never do with a DS.
|
I played the NDS though it was a bit childish (like most nintendo consoles), where I live the PSP is what rules and I think it's pretty good to play with friends, I played a lot of Pes 3 and bomberman on mine with my friends before it broke.
|
haha.. I prefer PSP since I just bought it a few month's ago.. very enjoyed playing it.. currently playing PES 2008.. the graphic is amazing, just like you're playing it using PS2..

PSP. Currently playing FFT.

but it confused me a little... In terms of graphics, once again SONY wins... Capacity of media, SONY wins |

gaming experience. graphics media capacity updates Player interaction (chat......) SONY dominates these..... literally speaking SONY is BEST, but people judge by what they prefer... @MissMisa, I'm just saying, from a statistical perspective, SONY is best, you can't deny it..... I don't really care for SONY, I like SQUARE-ENIX XDDDDDD |

I know, I was just stating that from a statistical point of view, you can't argue that SONY is second-best to anything..
I prefer SONY, because it's superior. |
The Best is not the system but The Game!! you dont buy a PSP or NDSL just for watchin the empty screen?lol..
Me I have both and for diff. reason : Graphics =PSP..just play at Metal Gear Solid or FF Crisis Core ..(I still dont know why a lot of people dont like this game..its not suppose to be a FF7 remak so..) Fun = NDSL The first time i played at Warioware i was stuck on for idk maybe 4 hour lool these nintendo guys are totaly crazy and that good for us.. |

I admit that the Sony PSP's graphics are really good and it has a lot of extra features that the DS does not have, but similarly the DS has features that the PSP has not got either. People can say either features are crap, but that's not a matter of fact that's a matter of personal preference and I think people need to realise that :) I, like a lot of gamers don't care as much for graphics and the technical aspects of a console, I much prefer the innovative and original experiane Nintendo provides. A lot of people brush this interaction as 'immature' and unsophisticated, but I think Nintendo has got a lot of balls to try out this stuff that no other company will. And I love what they have done with the DS, and so do the thousands of other people that purchased it and play it regularly. I have played the PSP and I also loved it, and although it is just like a fancy gameboy with disks and doesn't offer much new except for music and so on, which nearly every new gadget includes now [mobile phones etc.] it is a fun console to play and the graphics are very superior for a handheld. Both have good qualities and I think if you have the chance you should definatly play both and not disregard a console has totally crap ^_^ |
I will not vote, since I would go for both. I love to play PSP and DS.
I love to play Puzzle Quest in my DS, it's soooo addictive, and I've been playing Tekken and Monster Hunter Freedom in my PSP. Unfortunately, where I live, the "gamers" (lol, they call themselves gamers for playing PES and other soccer games -_-) only play PSP, apparently the DS is for children, nevertheless, there aren't that many "gamers" (lol) around here. I have 2 friends (one of them is going to sell her DS tomorow and buy the PSP, and the other one has the PSP), those 2 friends love the DS though ^^ I love handhelds btw. |

The strength of the DS games is that it has games that ONLY work on the small screen. The reason why I bought a DS was so I could play such innovative games... not so I could play PS2 games on the go. |

anyways what about in terms of inter-activity? i haven't played my PSP with others on a network/ adhoc, DS seems to have it also. ...i also use my PSP as to watch movies or videos from Youtube, listen to music, view pics & oh play games :D & all that on a mini wide screen. i'm currently glued to practical IQ :p |
