I mean if Disney characters are taken out then it would just be a regular rpg game. If anything its this series thats made me more interested in FF. & i am a die hard fan of Disney so of course when i heard about the collaboration of these two i just couldnt wait to play it. This is the first time i've ever heard of anyone disliking the series based solely on Disney. I doubt its gonna stop Square enix though. Good for them!

Keywords, regular rpg game.
It would be devastating to watch Kingdom Hearts be stripped of what made it so unique.

On top of that the creators and company would lose money.
They wouldn't have near as wide of an audience.

Without the Disney characters it's just a Final Fantasy title.

Just from reading this, I'm going to have stomach cramps tomorrow from laughing so hard.

Anywho, the Disney characters do make the game unique. It's fun, but it's a little too kiddy for me sometimes. Plus, Riku's a MAN in the second game. The first time I saw him in it, I was w00ting very loud.

I don't give a shit about the Disney characters as long as the story is as Epic as before. The characters in the special ending looked really nice, If it's something like that I would deff buy it.

The Disney characters ruined the wole Kingdom Hearts thing for me. I do have the GBA one and it's fun but I hate Disney. But I can't beat Captain Hook lol:D.

He was one of the hardest bosses for me. It took me FOREVER to beat him! I guess just practice and make sure you have plenty of Cures and maybe use some Cura sleights when you really need them.

I really think the Disney being taken out would ruin the magic of KH, but I do think it needs to be reduced. There is too much Disney in it and more than FF. And to make it worse, you can't buy KH stuff at the Disney store! What's up with that?! They take over a video game like that and won't even let you have a T-shirt of it!

I know! I get so pissed off. When the game first came out and I got to Ursula, I was about to throw my PS2 out the window!! Goofy used all of the items when everybody wasn't even halfway drained of energy... And Donald died a second before I did, and we needed only ONE MORE HIT to kill the boss.

Disney... I think I saw some action figures in my local-mall Disney Store. But they were there for only a month or something.

The Disney characters will always be there. This game isn't just Squares creation. It was co-pubished and developed by Square and Disney Interacticve Studios.

Mickey and Pluto aren't going anywhere.

The thing I find amusing is that you (obviously) like the game if you're going to make a topic about this, and played the first two despite there being cute "retarded" looking aesthetics. So why now? Why does it need to change? Is it going to make the gameplay any better? Will it make the story any better? No, it won't change a thing.

Being a gamer and nitpicking have become synonymous with one another these days it seems. Every game must be better because you [the gamer] says so, and cannot just be. Sigh.

YoshimiTheEthereal 07-22-2008 06:03 AM

Bashabudu!

Does Disney even do anything with the games or do they just let/make Square put their stuff in them?

Reuss64 07-22-2008 08:41 AM

I think they should be in there, there comic relief. Yes sometimes the arcs can get kinda annoying, but guys you all know you have the one or two Disney movies that you've watched as a child and you love that part in the game. I have always loved Aladdin, therefore I like those parts of the game. :D
