Unleashed, The Force has been.

So, who else here has it?
Great Game. I just finished it.
I do say that I expected more from the ending, but it was satisfactory.

MMM 09-27-2008 07:52 PM

I haven't finished it, but it is a lot of fun.

Keaton421 09-27-2008 08:03 PM

I think I got the "good" ending

The game was cool but the jumping and running made the controls feel loose and the game cheap

But the first movie with Darth and the kid actually brought tears to my eyes, so epic :D

Crani 09-27-2008 08:13 PM

I have played it on the PSP, NDS and the PS3, the NDS version is awfull, but the other two are very good, will keep you entertained for a while.

XjapanFOREVER 09-27-2008 10:22 PM

I would have finished it ages ago, but I finally found the Seraphic Gate in Infinite Undiscovery, so I got caught up in that.

Also, which versions of the game do you all have?
I have the PS3 version.

Crani 09-27-2008 10:44 PM

I have the NDS and PSP versions.

XjapanFOREVER 09-28-2008 03:46 AM

Why would you buy two versions?
are there any MAJOR differences that would make a different version worth buying?

*also, who thought the thread name was catchy? I Did!!!

Crani 09-28-2008 11:44 AM

I didn't technically bought them... *cof*I downloaded them...*cof*
But they have a different story, the NDS was really disappointing.
Catchy, the title is.

XjapanFOREVER 09-28-2008 02:49 PM

yea, I'd download the PSP version, but I don't want to risk bricking my PSP by installing a custom firmware, I hear there's no safe way after you upgrade past 1.5

what do you mean by different? how different?

Crani 09-28-2008 04:16 PM

*You can pandorize your psp, you just need to have a friend with a customized firmware PSP, it's pretty easy and safe, just look it up on google.*
Per example, the DS version lacks audio dialog, and instead of using the buttons to control the saber and the force you use the touch screen , button smash style (Instead of pressing X you press the icon, they could have worked a bit on it, making more fun), the PSP version as more modes and the level construction is different. The PSP and NDS versions, are side-story's to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

What the heck? This game was announced for PC as well... and they dropped it... no respect for PC gamers these days >_<

And now they are delaying the release of Mirror's edge PC version to 2009... what the hell is wrong with the game publishers?

XjapanFOREVER 09-28-2008 06:01 PM

I tend to stay away from portable version of console games, they tend to lack ALOT.
And they just don't look as fun.

@ex, yea, I noticed that, too, but I'll be getting the PS3 version, so it really doesn't affect me, I'll be pre-ordering it, too, cause the bag'll be useful in lugging my PS3 around.
Gamestop.com - Buy Mirror's Edge - Playstation 3

mangapunkrocker 09-28-2008 06:41 PM

is this game any good? Is it a lot of fighting? Cuz i'm wanting to buy it but I haven't played any star wars games I'll i've played is lego star wars and i lost bad...

Crani 09-28-2008 07:26 PM

Well, it's kind of like Lego Starwars, but the graphics are better and the story's different, if you like hack and slash games, you'll like this one.

XjapanFOREVER 09-28-2008 07:32 PM

Honestly, I wouldn't consider it hack and slash, it's more like push and zap... lol

XjapanFOREVER 08-13-2009 07:01 AM

Everyone's aware of the special edition that's coming later this year, the Ultimate Sith Edition, right?

It's looking pretty cool, plus it looks like the PS3 version will finally get some trophies... YAY!

EDIT - August 22
Trophies are live.
