Games you want to see made

For me?

A new Tenchu-like game. Shinobido, while not part of the Tenchu series, added some interesting concepts to the Tenchu like gameplay and I feel the game should go in the direction of Shinobido.

A Street Fighter 4 that DOESN'T reuse past character designs and concepts. Well reusing a little is OK... but I think Capcom sold out.

A Mercenaries game which isn't buggy. Mercenaries 1 was based on an amazing concept. It was sort of GTA in a war zone. Haven't played Mercs 2 but the reviews aren't flattering. What saved the Merc series was the concept and the sandbox gameplay but wouldn't it be niced to see a refined Mercs game?

A long time ago a game named Shaolin was released for the PS1. The game was very average but again... like Mercenaries the concept saved it from poor execution. In Shaolin you start off as a child and you choose a Kung Fu style. From there you go around fighting people around feudal China slowly gaining experience and new moves. Throughout the game you visit other areas and learn their styles all the while customizing your character. It was more a fighting/RPG game. Everything from the food you eat to the things you do influences how you grow from a young boy to an old man.

Not too bothered about SF4. I'd like to see a new Darkstalkers game though.

A new fighting game for me. But with good characters.

Haggis 02-01-2009 01:18 AM

I'm not sure where the future of fighting games lies. Soul Calibur and Dead Or Alive make you think that the characters are just there for fan service, but hey, I'm not complaining.

Yuna7780 02-01-2009 04:13 AM

A Sweeney Todd game. That's a LOOONG story on my behalf, but that'd be interesting. roflol

superheel 02-01-2009 04:19 AM

A Grand Theft Auto game where you can go inside buildings, torture pedestrians and has many cities.

Kai13 02-01-2009 10:01 AM

I'm suprised it hasnt happend already since the film. Every movie that sells more than 5 tickets gets a game these days.

Is your hair naturally pink?

alanX 02-10-2009 05:42 PM

Halo 4. .

iPhantom 02-10-2009 08:59 PM

I wish the Kunio-kun game series back in NES were continued, they were so much fun. Too bad the company bankrupted.

survivingonrice 02-10-2009 09:48 PM

Im just waiting for those helmets you put on in anime and are transported to the digital world...:ywave:

omg, I HATE all of the games that are made after the movies. None are good and only worth $5 a piece.

But still... Sweeney Todd would be a hard game to create, but I have better ideas for a film...

I really want there to be a proper ecco the dolphin 3 made by Ed Annunziata the creator of the first 2. It annoys me how the story arc was never finished and then the dreamcast ecco was made by different people and didn't continue the story. I really le the ecco series.

Blac 02-15-2009 01:35 PM

monster farm on psp

vilQ 02-15-2009 01:59 PM

I want a new Heroes Of Might And Magic game that isn't crap like the 4th and 5th instalments of the series.

Hyakushi 02-19-2009 10:18 PM

Dead or Alive 5, I wasn't crazy about the last DOA game that came out for the X-box the endings were just weird and I think they were trying to hard to be ninja =/.

NicciChan 02-20-2009 01:47 AM

Really?
I disagree. I thought it was pretty good. And it played almost identical to the previous ones.

The characters' techniques, although somewhat exaggerated, were quite accurate; Team Ninja really did their homework on their martial arts... which is a big deal for a fighting game. You can even learn a few real techniques by studying the moves of some characters.

As for a game I would like to see created, I want to see a "Freedom Fighters 2".
There are only a few games that I consider truly good, and "Freedom Fighters" was one of them. With the in-game graphics and physics we have today, they need only to retain the basic original game-play concept. Then, they would easily be dealing with a potential masterpiece.

I also want to see another good "Tenchu" game.
"Tenchu Z" was an excellent game, in my opinion. And - again - it was fairly accurate, in terms of martial practices, despite being somewhat exaggerated in some areas.

I agree the moves were good but the storyline drifted off from recent storylines like Kasumi O_O wtf was it with being a mermaid did she go home or what happened?. You know stuff like that but I don't know it just didn't up hold the TeamNinja Image to me. Maybe its just cause Ive been away from videogaming way too long the old game is burned in my brain X_x.

Another game I would want to see made is another Army of Two, Just recently got into playing it and finished.

burkhartdesu 02-20-2009 06:31 PM

A Super Smash Bros. game with Politicians!

Or just another Smash Bros. game in general

Oh yeah I agree about Freedom Fighters!

Cool game with a cool plot. I'm thinking if they made part two it could be made into a sort of sandbox game where you join up to or begin a resistance movement but after a while you end up leading it. There'd be side missions and stuff two involving other resistance groups, Soviet sympathising militia and perhaps a group involving the remnants of the US army which are in hiding and trying to regroup.

Are you talking about the .Hack// series?

The World would be an awesome game to have in RL...

Salvanas 02-21-2009 02:39 AM

I'd love to see the FF series remade into 3d, and revamped. Especially Number 6 and 9.

Apart from that, another Tombi game would be amazing!

Also: A Banjo and Kazooie game that kept the original idea from the first two games.

Also: A new RTS that is actually good. Hopefully Dawn of War 2 plays up to what it's hyped to be.

Koir 02-21-2009 02:43 AM

I would really like to see Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time rerelased, maybe with the Oblivion/Fallout 3 engine. Or at least find myself in the possession of the coffee cup with the Temporal Security Agency logo on it :)

TakedaFanBoy 02-25-2009 11:27 PM

Theres this japanese card game called "Legend of the Five Rings."
I would love to see a video game of that.

The one problem is that the I've met a lot of players from the card game that don't deserve the video game. =/
Too many jerks, putting it bluntly.
Arrogant, selfish, etc. and the list goes on.
One mistake, and they jump down your throat, except they do it like if its ok. And condescendingly too. Not to mention, the corruption of their Adm. and Mods. Its incredible how they just do what they want and more.
I've been playing for nearly over 2 years now and I'm almost at the brink of quitting the card game altogether, just because of their forums alone.

I feel sorry for the card games company though, being stuck with such an ungrateful group of players, but what can you do? =/

oh! and a decent japanese history game.
None of those lame hack and slashers.
I mean, I loved Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, but darn it Koei! Do something better for crying out loud!!!

More samurai video games is a plus.

I agree with you here.

The only decent one I can think of is Shogun: Total War which I've never played but I've heard it's good (as are all the Total War games).

I've tried looking for that one...its nearly impossible these days!
argh! and to think about 5 years ago they were selling that game for $10 american and whats worst?
I had it in my hands and let it go...
I felt that it just wasn't the right time to buy a computer game...T_T

JeagerEX 02-26-2009 05:29 AM

I wish there is a new 2d crossover fighting game featuring Capcom and Sunday Shounen characters like Kenichi VS Ryu. The title of this game is "Shounen VS Capcom" with the use of MvC2 game engine.

I wish there is a sequel of Tatsunoko VS Capcom. This game will features new characters like Geo Stellar(Megaman Star Force), Akira(Rival Schools), Falcon(Power Stone), Azure Dragon(Sengoku Basara X), Arthur(Ghosts N Ghouls), Megaman.EXE(Megaman Battle Network) for the capcom side. And for the tatsunoko side will be Yattaman no.2, Speed Race, Shigeki(Judo Boy), Volter, and many more. And the bosses of this game will be Sigma(Mega Man X), Yami(Okami), and Nebula Grey(Megaman Battle Network).
