I'm so excited for the remakes! I skipped buying Platinum (I have Diamond) to save for HeartGold and/or SoulSilver. From what I have seen, the improvements and new features, combined with the inherent awesomeness of the second generation, should make these two babies the best Pokémon games yet.

Shadow, according to Serebii.net, the two Pichu in that screenshot are Pikachu-Colored Pichu and Notched-Ear Pichu; there seems to be an event involving them at Ilex forest.

I have Silver, so I'm probably going to get HeartGold this time around. The HG logo is a lot better than the SS logo too, so that might influence my decision (being a designer/artist P: )

As for the 3D game, I would love a fully 3D RPG. Yet, I think that a 4th Gen Stadium--with all the original Stadium features and more--would be far more interesting. I have beaten both Stadiums, but the newer games do not excite me as much. In fact, I've only played Colosseum, and I do not intend on getting the others.

Oh the good ol' 3d Pokemon games. PokeSnap (Was that the game where you take pictures?) Was the best though :P

Dammit, I need to get myself another DS now.

I couldn't agree more!

I never really had time to play any of the spin off games. The rivalry between myself and my big brother on the RPGs was too fierce to allow time for anything else. seriously.

I don't think I could start playing any of the spin off's now, especially since mystery dungeon and ranger sucked so much..

I believe they do show up in the anime (they are in the current Japanese anime ending sequence), but I'm not sure if that was their original appearance or not. The Pickachu-Colored Pichu (a shiny Pichu with Pikachu colors) was given to those who pre-order the 12th movie tickets in Japan, along with a special Arceus. The Notched-Ear Pichu is in the 12th movie.

Pokemon was one of my favorite things as a kid.
I use to get up early to watch it a lot.
However, I regret spending huge amounts of money on Pokemon cards >.<

I spent £15 on a Mew card... It was weak as anything but I wanted it sooo bad just cuz of how rare it was in the game.
