This is a post I had on another forum, and I am way too lazy to construct a new one.

Assassin's Creed 2: Gameplay is largely improved and the environments look beautiful. Italy seems like a "prettier" sandbox. The boring missions leading up to the assassination have been cut; apparently there's some sort of system going on with the player being able to pay citizens/factions to help him; the story/backstory surrounding Ezio, the new assassin, appears to have more depth; and more weapons variant. Overall, this seems like a game I would rather have been playing from the beginning.

Batman Arkham Asylum: I just want to play as a kickass Batman. I don't really give a damn how much it might suck, just the premesis sounds amazing.

Bioshock 2: I am a bit iffy on this one. What made the first game outstanding was the themes and philosophies introduced (largely borrowed from Atlas Shrugged) I'm not sure they can recreate that without being repetitive and the atmosphere appears to have been replaced by more action.

Dragon Age: It's by Bioware. 'Nuff said.

Halo 3 ODST: Bungie seems to have taken a slightly different approach by allowing the player to freely explore the large area of New Mombassa, therefore the player essentially chooses which levels (If I've read the previews correctly :/) he/she plays first. This is also Halo 1 with a prettier skin.

Mass Effect 2: Basically what little there was wrong with the first, has been largely improved upon by Bioware. I like the concept of making hasty/wrong decisions could lead to Shepard's ultimate death. As in, no continuing character in the third. Gameplay is also smoother.

Final Fantasy 13. It's the only reason I'll buy a Playstation, also. I'm waiting until the game comes out, then I'll buy a PS3 then so it's as cheap as possible.

A good business move for profit margin on their part. The only reason I would purchase a PS3 would be for the use of a blu-ray player. That way, should an exclusive and welcoming game were to surface, I would have no issue with the lack of a system to play it on.

Modern Warfare 2 (getting the prestige edition with the NVG)
God of War 3
FFXIII
BioShock 2

My anticipated games include Assassin's Creed 2, Versus XIII, and a hopefully new .hack series in the near future.
