Final Fantasy XI/XIV Talk
 
I play a level 47 (my highest level ><') Warrior on Pandemonium server in Final Fantasy 11. I can't wait for 14!!! Anyone as excited as me?!?! ^^

I hope the system is not like XI. I'm an avid MMO fan, but I hated FFXI and it's system.

Will it be for PS3?

I'd get FF11, but all I have is a PS3 and the PS2 version looks crappy on a PS3 (not hi-def)


Is there going to be a PS3 release of FFXI or FFIV?

I heard it will be a little bit different. It will still be turn-based though I think.

Yeah. ^^ I heard it's going to be very cool, but it also sounds more difficult.

I honestly know nothing about 13 though. Lol. I never played 12, so I doubt I'll be playing 13 right away.

LEt me explain. I enjoyed that. But I hate the fact that you don't know WHO gave a quest, and that you had to make macros for spells and you had to learn what enemies are linked with others.

Sadly, I have not seen or heard anything about Square Enix tweaking it to look better on the PS3. =/ I think it's basically like playing any other older Final Fantasy game on the PS3. It's an old game, therefore, old graphics. Sorry. =/ 14 will be High-Definition though.

Ahh, yeah I don't know anything about 14 as far as quests and macros go. Well, actually I saw a video of it and I think the interface will look similar to World of Warcraft or other games where you can click on icons near the bottom to use items or spells.

Ah, that's put my mind at rest. Nobuo is gonna be composing the soundtrack by the way for XIV.

Can't wait to see what happens with it.

i'm looking forward to this new FF game . (in coming across to it) i haven't been updated in playing FF for awhile already.. ever since last year or so with the PC games.

I'm also really exited about this game and have been following it since it was announced at E3 earlier this year.

Right now the best website for FFXIV news and discussion is FFXIVCore. Their staff attends all of the conventions where FFXIV is talked about and holds interviews with the developers.

Well it will be for the PS3, so I've going to make an assumption and say yes. I think all of the specific PS3 games are compatible for 1080p.
