games you hates
what video games have you played do you hate and never want to play and why
|
You may one to add some kind of implication that you've at least tried to play a game before hating it.
My game is the none-too-soon-forgotten Daikatana. |

I haven't played it but I already knew I wasn't going to play it when I saw it's gameplay footage trailer ohh..I dunno a while back in the summer. :D As for a game I extremely don't like I'd say L4D2 (demo) because I've only played the demo and personally...I don't see anything "new" about it because all it REALLY does is bring a few new weapons (melee's + new weapons) which I will admit are kinda nice but don't justify the price of $50. And of course the new zombies such as charger, jockey, etc. that really aren't that much greater..infact I consider the jockey an annoyance, but maybe the directors were going for that lol. But ultimately the reason why that game doesn't go well with me is because of the music.. i ABSOLUTELY DESPISE IT, because who puts that kind of music in a zombie game. YouTube - l4d2 music |
same here with modern warfare 2 its almost the same game same gameplay just different location nothing to new in this game it does not deserve all this credit its getting

I think gun valkyrie is the worst thing I've tried to play, the controls were specially awful.
|
I played this game called ever grace. It was terrabad the graphics were a joke only trumped by the first .hack game.

but I'd actually say it compares almost to one of the earlier Final fantasies graphical wise STRICLTY. maybe FF 7 or 8 :D |
I'd say Final Fantasy X-2 is the #1 in my 'worst games ever played' list.

And the music in a zombie game? Alternative rock/hard rock is in almost everything associated with modern zombies. And in the case of this game, one of the levels actually has a concert for the stage, so the music fits even better. Also, since the game takes place in the South and in New Orleans, the music is appropriately themed and fits right it when playing. Hence, the addition of "The Saints go Marching in (The Saints Will Never Come)". |

Also why make a huge shift in characters? I liked the original Zoey, Bill, Francis, and my fav Louis so i think they should've kept them (if they kept them it would most likely lead me to buying L4D2) they easily could have done this by using a little video or something to fill the gaps of "storyline" to have it make some kind of sense instead of popping out of no where. And that's basically what they did with these new characters, atleast that's the way I see it. |

World of Warcraft
period |
I hate world of warcraft because it has stolen so many of my friends.
I played the DJ hero demo and found that pretty rubbish, like most of the hero/band stuff, but giving up hope of real bemani games making it onto 360 other than rubbishy ddr universe, ick a game I should have loved but thought was really aweful! the modes made no sence, the songs weren't right, all I wanted was something that resembled the PS2 games. *sigh* |
Spiderman games T_T |

I always thought the spiderman games were very entertaining, I've played since Dreamcast all the way through classic xbox and always thought the script was hilarious. |
Spiderman games with the free roaming are badass.

yes they are

Final Fantasy X-2---but I can't bring myself to trade it in because I feel obligated to keep it until I reach 100% Completion. I'm still upset at the fact that I've been stuck on 88% Completion of the game for 5 years, going through walkthrough after walkthrough trying to obtain the Mascot and Lady Luck dresspheres and STILL not being able to obtain them! (>.<) I disilke how different both Rikku and Yuna turned out to be in X-2, attire aside, and all the random characters Square Enix decided to throw in their without really giving us any insight on them or giving cliche story lines for them (Leblanc Syndicate, Lenne & Shyuin, Vegnagun, the friendship between Baralai, Nooj, Paine, & Gippal).
Final Fantasy VII---I played and beat this game at a very young age (around when I was 11-13 years old) and absolutely abhored it. It wasn't just because Aerith/Aeris died; the story itself was really hard for me to get into as well as trying to understand it---and maybe that's because I was playing it at such a young age) but after I beat it, I swore to myself that I would make sure that the game would never see the light of day :| It frustrated me to no end, I wanted to kick Cloud in the face at times for being a jerk or being very emo and I just---personally don't like the game. I do, however, like Crisis Core and Dirge Of Cerberus (but I only like DoC for Shalua and Shelke Rui). Advent Children was......okay. /shurgs/ |
The game I hate at most is Jade Cocoon 2.. I just loved the first game so much and I was super excited about the second one but at the end I just got dissapointed
|
I know Japanese RPG is not so popular outside Japan, but I just want to mention early Dragon Quest series as games that I don't ever wanna play again.
Since there was no "save game" function on early DQ series, I had to memorize ridiculously long (52 character max) password to continue playing the games from where you left off. Imagine my disappointment of seeing the message "Your password is incorrect" after spending hours on them. |
