The Best RPG video game!

Hey Guys, and girls, I wanna know what RPG video game you think is the best. I listed a few choices above.

TheDemonNaruto 04-04-2007 03:18 PM

Radiata Stories is an awesome RPG,seriously,it MAY be the best,it's all I can think of right now

dragonrazor 04-04-2007 03:20 PM

i'd have to say either Phantasy Star 4, Shining Force 2, the original Lunar, Albert Odyssey for the Saturn, or Star Ocean: The Second Story

Please chose one because there cannot be more than one best.

Wait there's a Star Ocean 2?

I think that RPG video games that always put out new games are lame because they always have to there buyers interested. If the games were truly great they'd only have to release one games and let everyone play because if it were truly i should never become lame.

That's how Radiata is,there's only 1 but I dunno if they're working on a second or not, the end of the game did seem like it could use a slight sequel to it

dragonrazor 04-04-2007 03:31 PM

actually, there are FOUR star ocean games...the first one was for the Super Famicom (the japanese SNES)...the second was for PSX...the third was for the japanese Game Boy Color, and the last one (the only one i didn't really like) is for PS2...it's called Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, and everything but the graphics and voiceovers are LAME

Within the limited knowledge of what I've played I'd have to stick with FF for the PS2.

On the PC however, there was a game called "Vampire, The Masquerade: Redemption" which was certainly the best I've played from a story and character outline perspective.

So for now I vote FF.

um...no, but all three Genesis games in the series were released as part of the Genesis/Megadrive collection for the PS2, GCN, and one other system (forget which)

the original game was for the Master System...my cousin found both used (his is a model 2 Master System though, with the built in Alex Kidd game or whatever)

Well, I've only recently taken to gaming (6 months or so) so that sounds totally klingon to me :D, but as long as there's a version for PS2, I'll look it up rightaway

the Genesis Collection is a SEGA collection of Genesis games...it has all three Phantasy Star games for the Genesis, plus both Shining Force games and quite a few others

Riku8 04-04-2007 04:55 PM

I say Disgaea2 is the best, its an SRPG but its still an RPG :D:D

Sutiiven 04-04-2007 05:18 PM

hey

iwould have to stay final fantasy 10 and morrowind elder scrolls.

Ichirin 04-04-2007 09:17 PM

I think I'd pick Guildwars: Factions (my pics from that movie)

QueenNanami 04-04-2007 10:03 PM

I've played lots of awsome rpgs but i will have to stay with Final Fantasy n.n

Tiggy 04-04-2007 10:57 PM

It'd be between Disgaea 2 and Namco X Capcom. I'd have to say Namco X Capcom, simply because it breaks the RPG trend of 60+ hours...but then again, it's not a traditional RPG. It just looks so flashy....and they make Mitsurugi from Soul Calibur look so CUTE!!!!!
