May I ask what are the reasons?

[x] the only thing new it brought was voice acting.
[x] in comparison to ffix, it seemed like a regression.
[x] the characters were just all over the place.

don't get me wrong, i don't hate the game. it's just not a favourite.

I'm leaving room for 10 here, because the order might change once I get my hands on Bayonetta which could turn out to be the next step in the action genre (and thus mind-blowingly awesome). If not, add either Resident Evil Remake, Silent Hill 4 or Yoshi's Island there. I don't know. IT's hard picking out a Top 10, usually it's easier for me to give a Top 3 because they're all 10/10 to me :)

The only reasons why Alundra beats Okami is because the "voice-acting" in Okami is annoying, and the story in Alundra was a tad better to me - more correctly, the story in Alundra had me more engaged. Project Zero ends up third because of the camera thing. I know, they couldn't have done it better, but it's still a drawback :P

oh i have never tryed Okami;_; i really want to try it sometime!

You definitely should try it out, but there are a few things to think about before playing the game:

1. Don't mind the voice-acting. I know it sounds annoying, but you'll kind of get used to it. Don't let it get to you either, because the story is awesome and gets better as you progress.

2. Have an interest for Japanese history and culture. I say you'll appreciate this game much more if you're interested in Japanese culture or foreign cultures generally, rather than being "just" an anime/manga lover. Since Japanese mythology and folklore have served as inspiration for the game setting, having an interest in that sort of thing helps. The manual contains lots of neat stuff, such as what many of the Japanese characters used in the game means, and there's a section in the manual that tells you about some of the myths and stories that exist in Japanese culture and that the game has taken inspiration from.

3. Patience is a virtue. This game is LONG. I remember when I first played it and stopped after 20 hours, and I was like, 1/3 or 1/4 through the entire game or something. I then stopped playing but then started a new game some year later, and by then my completion time was 60 hours. I'd say this game is probably bigger than any Zelda game you've come across, and it lasts almost as long as your average Final Fantasy, bar the tedious grinding and levelling and all that.

3: I love long games:P It anoys me that some time when I find a new game that looks really cool, its almost always to short:P sometimes i even get the thought that it was waist of money:P well i hope i find the game in my country though:/

I live in Sweden, so you should definitely be able to find it in Norway :P but what I did was that I ordered a bunch of games from GameStop in USA because I bought my friend's old NTSC PS2 (an american PS2). Back when the dollar was worth 6-7 SEK and not 8-9 SEK, it was cheaper to order games from USA.

And I think you won't be disappointed at all with Okami. The story is really great. First I thought it was good but that it would become less good, but it just got better! And the graphics really suit the game, everything flows almost flawless and everything feels Japanese, especially with the music that is SOOO well-done! (Of course the music is awesome, Masami Ueda is the composer!). Oh and the gameplay is like extended, fast-paced Zelda action.
