Just got Super Mario Galaxy today, and ok, yeah it's a good game, but it's not really Mario to me. Now New Super Mario Bros was a 'real' Mario game.

So Mario games, which is better, 2D or 3D? Was Super Mario Sunshine rubbish or an unappreciated classic?

Should Mario just stick to platforming or are the RPG, driving, golf and tennis games classics too?

And as for the film... well, would anyone even admit to seeing it?

I got it today, too! I think it is great! (Not that far in, though.) I don't think Mario has to be one thing. I like Paper Mario and Super Mario Sunshine, too. I like Mario Golf...never played tennis...but, like Mario Kart is on of the best games out there. They are consistently good...that's the important thing.

For one I saw the film.

I like all the Mario games that have came out.

yep mario kart is my fav mario game :D

I really like the RPGs, both the Paper Mario and the Mario & Luigi series, I'd rate them alongside classics such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.

Whilst good I don't think Mario Tennis is as good as Virtua Tennis, or Mario Golf as good as Everybody's Golf for example. Can't really comment of Mario Kart, not really my thing, more into stuff like Need For Speed and Burnout myself.

Super Mario World is still the best for me though, I'm old fashioned like that.

Pfhh! I am still playing the original SMB and punching lobsters with Luigi (taken from Popeye game really)

Super Mario Bros 1 is the best Mario game ever!

Mario can do anything. I haven't played a mario game I haven't liked. Why did everyone hate Sunshine??I enjoyed it alot.
