Metal Gear Solid is awesome, just those storylines are amazing.
The philisophical note at the end of part one and two are in the

Contrary to what we were led to believe, the Metal Gear franchise did not end with MGS4 (however it may have chronologically).

Konami has posted a job listing at a Japanese site seeking staff for new Metal Gear projects.

I can't wait to see what masterpiece we get next...

Personally, SoL is my favorite (although I did want to kill Rose at some points during Raiden...) I felt so bad for Otacon though... :(. The level leading up to the reunion with Snake was sooo messed up though.... the hilarious thing was Raiden running around nakkkkkid ;) (and stuffing people in lockers/bathroom stalls)
