My friend offered to sell his Wii along with games like Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3, among a few other games (Bleach and Paper Mario were part of the package, too). It occured to me then how Wii had no appeal whatsoever to me. I really can't see myself playing with a Wii. Despite me rooting for Nintendo always, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a 360 over the Wii.
So what really good games are there for the Wii? I've already completed Twilight Princess, and aside from Paper Mario, I'm not interested in any of the other above-mentioned games. No More Heroes sounds like a cool game, Suda seems to have a similar approach to games as I have. |
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is awesome. If you don't mind looking like a loon, Rayman and the Raving Rabbids is a lot of fun. Wario Ware is awesome, too.

super mario galaxy is a really cool game and mario kart is really good too
|
you have to get DBZ: Tenkaichi 3 no matter wat and mario kart and dragon quest swords
|
There aren't many good shooters on the wii yet but Metroid Prime 3 is good. The Conduit is coming out Q1 of next year and it looks amazing with good graphics and everything.
Also, if you like No More Heroes like over-the-top blood and gore Mad World looks positively insane. I'm not sure when it's coming out though. |
You should check out the Resident Evil games. Even though it's always best to start video games from the first one in the series, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition pretty much stands alone (being a spinoff of the series and all). The game play is great, along with the controls, graphics, and storyline. If you don't have any other Nintendo systems, try getting the first few RE games for Gamecube and play them on your wii.
