Unfortunately, I have never been to Niigata.
Why are you interested in Niigata?

Driven through Niigata city at night, stayed on Sado Island before, and I am in Yuzawa every weekend. What precisely are you wanting to know?

Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata is the location of the Fuji Rock Music Festival held every summer in Japan. :pinksong:

Which is in Yuzawa.

niigata is about 300 kilometer nothwest of tokyo, on the side of the sea of japan. people say there are four white beauties in niigata. they are heavy snow(3 meter snows are not rare in mountains), swans(wintering mostly from russia few from north america), delicious rice and good sake(drink).

btw, niigata city is where takahashi rumiko(inuyasha) and obata takeshi(death note) were born.

Oh.... After reading this thread, I began to want to see snow......
