Here's a simplified railway map of Kansai. There are three commuter rail systems serving the Hanshin region between Osaka and Kobe. These are JR West, Hankyu and Hanshin. Konan University is near Hankyu Okamoto Station and JR Settsu-Motoyama Station. The high school is near Hankyu Ashiyagawa and JR Ashiya in the residential city of Ashiya. Sannomiya is the biggest shopping district in Kobe, and Osaka Umeda is even bigger.
