Kyoto seika university

I sometimes read about the Kyoto seika university and i want to enter that university, my mom gives me permission if i work hard enough at school and my big sister finally helps to and don't bully me for my interests and dreams^^
but i wanted to know, is that university difficult?

Henbaka 08-09-2008 03:49 PM

I'm sure it's no harder than other universities. Being able to join is a whole other thing... I'd say, go to Univ. in NL, and go to japan on an exchange year.

hinata4life 08-09-2008 04:46 PM

I think i would be bullied here on the university just like in the high school i'm doing, and there are no universitys in the place where i live and not near, but there are in Amsterdam but i'm not going to travel 1,5 hour per day for university

joker8880231 08-10-2008 03:04 AM

Why were you bullied everyone has reasons for getting bullied no one is just singled for no apparent reason what so ever.

ichigo9981 08-10-2008 03:47 AM

i think going to a good uni is the best thing to do you are ging to meet new people and learn new things:)

Strange. To me, you sound like the very person who would bully others for no reason. You already attacked all Japanese members on JF with this comment.

I'm being bullied because I'm a halfbreed, and because they can't stand my interrests-_- nearly everyone at school hate Japan and Egypt, and i just like Japan, and i'm half arabic^^

and the reason i want to go to Japan and do university there is because i want to start a new life not here in the netherlands, if i would stay here the pain i have at the moment won't go away, and i just hope so much that it will go away if i will live in japan

joker8880231 08-10-2008 05:14 AM

I hate to tell you this you will I understand you dont like to be picked on who does but alot of Japanese view half breeds as outcasts I have a friend who is half Japanese half white always had a hard time fitting in.

hinata4life 08-10-2008 07:06 AM

I can better say that it looks like I don't fit in a country, for people in Egypt they think i'm dutch and for the people here in the netherlands they think i'm arabic>_<

Henbaka 08-10-2008 10:03 AM

Eh. I certainly don't think you will be "bullied" at a university because you're arabic (if you are), or because of your interests. Maybe stop imposing your interests on other people would help then?

I don't see why you'd think Japan would be better.

hinata4life 08-10-2008 12:54 PM

At the school where i go to are only idiots, a few of them are nice but these people at my school (most of them) hate me and i hate them^^

Kai13 08-10-2008 01:10 PM

yeah right...I also have that *dream* but I know it's almost impossible to realize it, so, I will go to university here in portugal and after that will try to find a jod there.

If I were you I would do the same thing. Wether you like it, wether not, bullying (and I honestly don't think you'll be bullied, only stared at like with other foreigners) happens everywhere, and Japan is no exception at all.

I love the Netherlands and have few friends there, they love it, I'd stay there, I think your education system is waaaaay better than here in Portugal (trust me), by what my friends told me.

EDIT: You're 13? I was in my 8th grade when I was 13 ^^', I'm in the last high school year now, the 12th...

Something tells me you really like anime...you'll get mature in the next years, the best thing to do in my opinion is what I will do, all japanese I've spoken to told me that, and they were/are right.

Anyway, ganbatte! And good luck, you'll need it.

the universitys here are really hard, i think.

and it does'nt matter me if someone stares at me, it matters me if they don't bully me^^

yeah I'm 13, Doing 3th high school at the moment^^
and my favorite sort genre of animes are: yuri/Yaoi Shounen-ai/Shoujo-ai, Ecchi, action and romance stuff^^

Henbaka 08-10-2008 06:04 PM

I don't understand. Why, do you think you will get bullied in NL but not in Japan?

Also: Damn, almost finished highschool at 13?! W-t-... Maybe you can chill after highschool and do some fun stuff before college :)

joker8880231 08-10-2008 11:32 PM

No one will pick on you in college its way different then high school.

Speacially if you want to do it in another country. It's hard by itself to get to university in our country (not hard, but we need to have grades), just imagine throug Holland to Japan. You're 13 and love anime, get mature first, then you'll decide. When I was 13 I didn't even wanted to go to college, nor I knew what that was as I know now, and all I wanted was to have fun. I will *finally* leave internet (portuguese forums, etc) and will start study more (I hope =_=).

hinata4life 08-11-2008 09:27 AM

if i finish 3th high school i have 5 years left in this school, i think i won't be bullied after finishing the 3th and 4th because after that i will go to a niveau higher then i'm doing now

Kai13 08-11-2008 10:41 AM

Bully, bully, bully...

That Bullying thingy is annoying me. Why do you think you'll be bullied? Because you're arabic? Don't worry, be happy.

joker8880231 08-11-2008 11:07 PM

Yeah I wouldnt worry about being bullied in college. Just go with the flow.

Okay, I'll be positieve again just like my normal self(=^-^=)

joker8880231 08-12-2008 03:21 PM

Most of the people that are considered weird in high school are the geeks and nerds the people who tend to go to college and make a name for themselves.

hinata4life 08-13-2008 01:38 PM

I am weird on my way, No one is normal, Everything has some good and some bad points, So no one is a nerd or geek, Understood?

Henbaka 08-13-2008 02:22 PM

I am definately a nerd, and a geek, in many areas :) Most people are [something]-nerds. It's not a bad thing!

you are'nt a geek or nerd, if you count it that way then i would be a geek/nerd too because i love it to learn other languages and I'm better then my class is with learning languages (they are from one country but i'm a halfbreedXD)

Henbaka 08-14-2008 06:41 AM

yeah that's my point, we're all nerds&geeks at something. I don't see why we should still single out one or a few special interests as "nerdy".

You're a language-nerd!

Hello

Hi, I live in Kyoto and I know about Kyoto Seika University. Its Manga Department is very famous. Are you interested in studying manga or anime? Are you good at drawing?

Hirashin:)
