well most people either have a program in there schools that helps them get there faster but since im home schooled i have to do this by myself so its a little harder and im not sure if the college im going to will have a japanese program there so it mite take some searching around which mite take a wile, but ill get there one way or another and nothing is going to get in my way.:vsign:

Just do high school foreign exchange. I did it and I have decided that I want to live there too... I just haven't made a decision as to whether or not I want to live there forever. You really have to go to know what you're getting into.

1. go to school
2. get a hobby
3. get a job
4. get a girlfriend

Run away to japan, it will not solve your problems, at home

i hope to live there someday. my girlfriend and i decided we want to live there, it fits our lifestyle much better. i cant wait to leave... but first i have to go to college;.;

I never wanted to run away from home its just japan suits my life better
and i all ready have a job im a karate instructor but you are right about a hobby i need to find something to make the wait not so long and girlfriend
(i am in no rush for one and if i find one in japan thats extra kudos:D )

how would you know japan suits you better if you have not been to the country. getting the country's impression thru anime, song and etc is totally different than actually living it.

just like what everyone said, try to get into an exchange program first or visit the country as tourist to get a first hand experience before deciding anything..
