What is a Zainichi Korean's child's status in Japan today?
----------Done.

The child would hold Japanese citizenship if the father was married to the mother at the time of the birth. I am not familiar with the laws of Korea in regards to passing on citizenship - so the child may or may not also hold Korean citizenship.
In the case of Japanese citizenship though, it`s pretty straightforward. If born in Japan, citizenship is granted at birth, and will not disappear as a result of later events. |
