Yeah! I wnat to so the same thing but I dont know how to go about it. How can a person learn japanese around here?

godwine 04-09-2009 04:37 PM

We can only provide so much help in this forum, and definitely cannot start a class or course. Your best bet is to find a school or local college that teaches Japanese. Certain countries have Japanese cultural centers (We do in Canada) that you can try.

There are several threads pertaining to questions concerning qualification for Japan residencies:

i think he means making threads w/o looking if those topics already exist

derek3men 04-12-2009 01:41 AM

Thanks for clearing that up.

"how can i learn japanese language???"
Bluntly put, study.

As for your work and living. Seriously figure this one out on your own. We can't just point you to a website and say "sign up here and you have work and you will be ready to move in a second"

What we can say is, that with your current japanese skills, chances are you won't be finding any work or getting a work visa.

Your current plan is as well thought out as the blueprints of a rocket drawn by a child.

If anyone has been in the same boat as you -- being a clothing designer planing on moving to japan without knowing the language -- it would be interesting to hear. One thing you have to keep in mind, you can't just copy the success of someone else, hard work and determination will pay off.

Or you could find a babe, get hitched, and be ready to move within weeks.

There's always a shortcut.

Teaching English as an ALT, JET, or Eikaiwa instructor usually legally requires a four year degree of almost any major.

If you have a BA in fashion design, you still have a BA, so you can still teach assuming English is your native language.

What I think of that particular plan is something entirely different, of course...

Really? That's funny. I fell in love with my GF without even knowing she was a Japanese citizen. Yep, yep.

Your mother hates you. See? I can do it too.

And just curious...why do you like to read all of my posts? Since you know what I say in every thread.

You can do what too? That did not even make sense.

And I didn't read all your posts but the few that I have seen you have repeated the same thing. Just seems to me you're using your girl as a way to Japan.

So you didn't know she was a Japanese citizen? I don't understand how you wouldn't assume a Japanese person living in Japan isn't a citizen....

Sorry I thought I saw in another thread you mentioned about not meeting her yet so I assumed you met on a website.

As cliche as it sounds, we did originally meet on a website. But we've met in person several times.
