Is it wrong to go to Japan for a new life?
see question
|
You can't go to Japan and expect the same life, that is for sure.
But if you are going to Japan to escape some problem you don't want to deal with, remember, Japan is not the counselor's office. Quite the opposite, really. |

I know many foreigners who couldn't stand Japan and outed after a year. Some stayed on to live and learn, I was one of them and I did adopt somewhat, although definitely felt like I was always on the outside looking in which I felt was fun. Still love old Nippon and would be back in a shot if my situation was different. Australia is hugely popular for young Japanese to live for a while, even more so the one's who cannot fit into Japanese society. It is sad really that they "have" to fit in. |

If you've sorted all the necessities out and you're sure it's for you then I wish you best of luck.

Every day is a new life. You don't need to change your location, you just need to change your perspective.

But maybe getting a fresh start in a new country could be even better. Shouldn't settle for anything less that what you want. |
Not wrong, just incredibly naive.
|
I think it really depends on your reasons for leaving.
There are people that leave because they are losers in their own country There are people that are not losers, but dislike/hate their own country. There are people that just want to try something new. There are people that want to go to Japan because it contains their passion/fetish (usually hentai, manga or asian girls) Or any combination of the above. I it is up to everyone to figure out which one fits the best. |
well what is your reason cause i knew someone who went just to run from something and it caught up with her again
|
the answer to the question is NO.
its not wrong but it is pretty strange lol, i mean why japan ? |
I can understand the desire to escape personal $h!7 but Japan is very, very, very different than the English speaking world. You’re going to face a serious amount of alone time whether you’re keen on the idea or not. Whatever issues that are ailing you will come back. But if you’re the adventurous sort, can bury issues in the back of your mind and have some good hooch then go for it.
