Shopping in Fukuoka

I'm going to be in Fukuoka in a few days and I want to do some shopping. So, I've got a couple questions.
I don't know any japanese, only what google tells me. I've done some searching for prices of things in japan and come up with the following site:
http://kakaku.com/item/01309512381/

Can anyone tell me:
1. is this a web only price? am I going to have any luck finding this in stores?
2. if I can find this in stores, is there a nice big central electronics market where I could go buy some stuff in Fukuoka?

Thanks in advance

1. Depends on the store. Look at the 5th column from left named 店頭. If you see the word 同価 in that column, that means the product is being sold for the same price over the counter. If you see an empty space in that column, that probably means the store price is higher than the internet.

That's very helpful. I will have to get someone who speaks more japanese than me to figure out if any of the cheap shops are in fukuoka or not. Interesting how almost all of the cheaper prices are over the counter, but farther done none of them are.

I don't suppose you could comment on じゃんぱら【中古&新品 パソコン・デジタル家電の販売・買取】 have you ever shopped there? Is the stuff they sell usually reliable? I've been looking through a few sites trying to find what I want, but not having much luck . The few shops in fukuoka where I find a price for something it is far and above the prices I found in the shops in Tokyo. Is fukuoka generally more expensive than tokyo? Less competition maybe? So I'm considering picking up the two things I want there second-hand as they're showing prices well below what the other places want for new.

Is the biccamera place worth hitting or are the prices there similar to the other shops?

If you're talking to me, no. I've never used that site.

It's not that Fukuoka is generally more expensive than Tokyo. But Tokyo is often mistaken for being overly expensive. What is expensive in Tokyo are mostly heavily related to space/land availability, which are rents, hotel rooms, golf fees, etc. I don't care what anyone on JF says but for restaurants, clothes, electronics, etc., Tokyo is among the cheapest. This is because of the fierce competition as you said.

Foreign tourists to Japan often get a different impression because they actually choose go to more expensive restaurants and stores in their slight hope that English may be spoken or their credit cards might be accepted.

Bic Camera is more than worth hitting. They have the latest gadgets and very competitive prices. Besides, you can haggle over the price there.
