Well, I hate to differ from the pic-taker himself. But those two are so clearly from Shinjuku.....

Second from last > just north of Odakyu Dept. Store. Above the truck, you can see the sign 思い出横丁. I'm there all the time.

Last one > Kabuki-cho. You can even see the word "Kabuki" on the flags on the poles. This is close to all the movie theaters in Kabuki-cho.

Just a little post by a Shinjuku resident...

I'm sorry I'm not the expert on every alley and street

I lived in a small suburb, and I sometimes went off hiking around the mountains.

That was right by my house (not me pictured), a kind of shrine come children's playground hidden amongst the houses.

This is in Yawatashi, which isn't exactly what I'd call 'countryside' but it's quiet compared to the city. It's on the outside of Kyoto.

Summer picture This was the park near to where I lived. There were turtles in the pond.

This was half-way up one area of the mountains outside of Osaka. Facing the other way was a golf-course. :/ go figure.

Persimmon tree, same area as the picture above.

Yeesh, sorry the pictures are still a bit big. I literally cut the size by half and hoped that would be ok- If it's a problem, let me know and i'll edit it all again. o_o;

My thoughts the same, great photos of Japan everyone!

Wish I had a better camera though, I could have gotten more photos like those.

Ah I kind of like crappy quality photos!

Plus the majority of the photos I've posted were taken by my Japanese teacher (and guide)

I love those himeji roof tiles. There was a house near us that had similar ones, really pretty. I kept wanting to sneak into their garden too.

Itsukushima

Miyajiiiimaaaa~

Itsukushima again. The tide was out so it wasn't properly floating.

And Nara, i think late November. It suddenly got very cold and the leaves went bright red very quickly, but lucky for me it was sunny on the day I went so I got some good snaps.
