Japanese security
Hi everyone, I've just read an article about the ten most securest holiday countrys in the world. So I thought "How secure is Japan?"^^ Japan wasn't in the ranking but they metioned that the japanese are very law-abiding, is that true and how "dangerous" is it to walk around at night (after a party or disco etc) in a city/town/village? Are there many thiefs or perverts who rape people? Are there teenagers (older counts too xD) who walk around and beat people up just because they like to fight or drunk too much?

02. Dubai 03. Ireland 04. Cyprus 05. New Zealand 06. Mauritius 07. Bhutan (Asia but don't know where exactly) 08. Switzerland 09. Iceland 10. Singapore These are the ten most securest countries in the ranking. The security descending so ACB Islands are the most securest. |
Dubai and Ireland are "more secure" than Japan? I guess I am not sure what "secure" means, but in terms of safety I would say Japan is very safe.

It was a german articel so I don't know if you can read it but it was on the MSN starthomepage MSN, Messenger und Hotmail sowie Nachrichten, Unterhaltung, Video, Sport, Lifestyle, Finanzen, Auto uvm. bei MSN so you have to look at the site of your country if it's posted there too^^ And I think Japan isn't in the ranking cause it's not a holiday country for germans^^

Japan is easily the safest country I've ever been to.
I can't see how Ireland, Switzerland and a few others are so high on that list (and higher than Japan). It makes me not believing in that list at all. |
perhaps its cos japan wasnt even considered since its so safe.

Was this list only regarding violent crime? Some of those in the top ten are well known for minor, but still problematic crimes for tourists such as pickpockets and other petty thefts.

WTF !
CYPRUS is mentioned in there ??? UN Peacekeepers have been there for 40 years at least. Japan is VERY safe and you shouldn't worry |
