HI, Iam a 17 year old guy who´s just looking for someone with Japanese school experience, Preferbly someone Japanese, Might be going to Tokyo, In about 1 year, And i wish to learn as much as i can about Japan before i go there, Would be grateful if someone could lend me a hand ;)

I studied in Japan for one year as a student before moving here. Ask any questions you like.

Generally people go as an exchange student through their college at home.

You should look into Temple University　Japan.　School in Tokyo.　Very interesting, I have a couple people I know going there. American School,　So you graduate with that American Degree but get the experience of the Language and culture.

Yeah I wanted to go there because they have a design division. Unfortunately it seems everything there is very much general studies. Not that I'm knocking it, I just think the only specialization is in Asian Studies.

Still, Temple's a pretty good school.

I still say Kansai's a better area to go to, though ;)
