Thinking of living in Japan..

Hi, i live in U.S, I am brazilian and have been living here for 7 years..i am a senior in college and i am majoring in finance and accounting. After graduation i plan on visiting Japan,Tokyo and possibly even moving over there. I have always been fascinated by the Japanese culture and their respect to one another. I speak little japanese but i am aware of the 3 different writing systems and am willing to learn. My question is how good of a chance would i have of finding a job there, anything from teaching to working with food whatever really..just anything to build up my japanese and ultimately get a good job. How friendly are the natives to foreigners ?

This question is addressed weekly, if not more often in this very section. Check the stickies and other links and then if you have more specific questions, pleae ask away.

I think it would be nice to live in Japan. The air, the water, the food, the life and the people, etc. Hope you can figure out what you want to know soon. ;)

The air and water? What do you think is special about Japan's air and water?

I think the air and water in Japan are very good quality. I should say they are much better than most of cities in China. The water purity is so high. I noticed that even smoke from chimney was clear. So, it should be quite healthy to live in Japan. :p

Personal feedback is totally fine. I am just saying the questions you are asking are addressed very regularly, so if you have more specific questions, then bring them on.

The short answer is it is all about visas, visas sponsors, and who is willing to sponsor you.

I am not an expert, but I would say immigration laws in Japan are tougher than in the US, so yes.
