Money conversion from Yen to USD (move thread if needed)

I need help with converting Yen into USD ( or the dollar). If someone who knows how to do this can convert it, I will be VERY happy and will make sure I help you if you need help. Thanks in advance!!

( Don't give me a link to a website converter! Those don't help. Oh and if need be, move this to the appropriate thread.)

I almost forgot, here is the thing in yen you need to convert to the USD.
1,536 Yen

You realize that this rate changes constantly, so the ONLY WAY you can do it accurately is to use a link.

Yen to dollar - Google Search

Um, mind explaining why a website converter won't work? There's no formula for converting currencies - as MMM noted, it changes all the time.

Also the quickest way is to go to Google and type "___ JPY in USD", filling in the blank with however much Yen you're converting.

I use 'coinmill'. It's surely a bit of a moot point anyway, because different money changers offer different rates depending on if they charge commission or not, and no one place is consistently the cheapest either. Shop around, is my advice.
