Proper cooking pot

Hey I just moved in and when I went shopping for a cooking pot there were so many different kinds I didn't know which one would work with my stove top. The Japanese call the stove a Shiizuu Heater, which is the old school ones that have spiral coils. What kind of pot would work with this kind of stove top??? Thanks!

Anything should go with the shiizuu. The only heater that won't work with certain pans is the IH (induction heating).
