SMS in Japan
 

Just a quick question.

Is SMS limited to the same provider in Japan? Or is it cross provider compatible?

Or does everything stick with mobile email instead?

I would say pretty much everyone sticks with mobile email.
SMS is limited to the same provider, and is limited in the number of characters and style.

It used to be cheaper (or free) but now mobile email is the same in terms of cost.
