You don't. You ignored OTHERS recommendations too. How sad. See, in Japan, a degree is needed in the end for you or me to live there, in the first place, as many people have said. However if you attempt it for the wrong reasons, its just not going to work. If you did not expect it should be easy, why are you making excuses on NOT to help your success? JohnBraden has it right on the head, just offer yourself for marriage and the Green Card exchange for Residency in Japan, and let us know how you get a job there. It would be very interesting to see.

My friend did it exactly the way like I mentioned, if you don't have the privilege for a WHV you go there with a Touri Visum and look for a Job.

Ok, so basically :

- You hate the USA
- You love Japan
- You have limited financial reserves
- You lack the motivation to study and graduate from college

Well, luckily for you, I can offer you two ways you can become a resident.

The first way is through marriage by obtaining a spousal visa. Unfortunately, you can't just marry any girl off of the street and expect to obtain this visa. You'll need someone who is financially sound and one who can vouch for you by becoming a guarantor.

Unfortunately, women who are financially sound tend to look for someone of their same status. After all, this is Japan where it's vital to keep up with the Jones. Therefore, I'd recommend that you look for a niche. For example, finding a financially successful woman with a facial disfigurement or one who is blind. Or, better yet, one with both of those issues. I'm sure they'd be more willing to lower their guard and accept a foreign companion.

Of course this will require some dedication and perseverance on your part to study the Japanese language. This may be something which you aren't willing to partake in but luckily for you, the second method will not require this.

The second method is to commit a crime in Japan. Due to the possibility of a death sentence, I'd stay away from capital offenses and stick to something like robbing the local convenience store or a manga kissa.

This would allow you become a resident of Japan. You wouldn't have to worry about finding a job, a place to stay and you'd be given 3 meals a day. All without without the hassles of obtaining a visa!

Actually on the second the USA could intervene and Japan could send him back...Possibly....

Like I mentioned 3 times in all of my last posts. You can go there as a Tourist and do the exact same thing. 90 days should be enough to find a job and if not.. ship over to Korea and back.

You cannot just automatically show up, look for work without a visa/degree, and expect it to be easy. Yeah, there are those TALENT agencies for record companies. (Korea's SM hold auditions in Los Angeles often, and a man I know says also in LA there are tarento auditions from time to time.)


However, if you look at this kid's attitude, its plain he does not want to make a bigger effort. He asked in the title of the thread, "how to turn a failure into a japanese resident?" and ignored the most basic solution;
