Shopping Holidays?

Hello! :p :ywave:
I was just wondering what holidays are the biggest for retail sales in Japan? Are there certain days that seem to sell a lot more than usual?
Thank you! :rheart:

The only holiday I can think of where people exchange gifts is Valentine's Day and White Day. Some kids get little gifts from Santa on Christmas, and it is also considered a romantic holiday, so there would be some gift exchanges between young couples.

Kids get money on New Year's, so savvy game and toy stores open up on 1/1 to take in their cash.
