I and my husband have a family credit card. He is the main holder and I am the sub. Each credit card has individual names on them. If I use my card and then default on the payments. Who is responsible for paying?

You are what is called an "authorized user" on your husband's credit account. Technically, he is responsible for making the payments, but any late payments or non-payments will go on both you and your husband's credit reports. You don't want this to happen, as getting credit is getting much harder than it used to be.
