How hard is it to become a part of the ship crew in Japan?
 

By that I mean deckhand. I think I heard Korean 3rd mates can work on Japanese ships, so I was wondering what about American deckhands. I am not a deckhand yet but I thought it was a good job.

Not entirely sure but I would think damned near impossible.

You would have to *legally be in Japan*
