what would U suggest me 2 do to find a creative work there?
Hi, everybody:
I'm trying to move to Tokyo and I'm searching a job, a creative one. Do you know any way to achieve this result? Is there anybody who knows a japanese ART DIRECTOR to talk to? thanks |
Tokyo is packed full of artists. You're best chance I think would be to try to go to one of the art schools. Overall Japan is full of artist and amateurs. You are better off finding a job doing something else first just to get in the country and hope you get noticed.

Well I know that if you want to do Art professionally in Tokyo, which I'd like to do someday, do need to go through the proper schooling first, and have a Bachelor's Degree. If you don't then they won't even hire you.
A lot of Art schools can be taken in the evening with night classes. They even show you how to draw in their manga style. It would be so cool. (Also a lot of websites show you were professional mangakas went to school.) That can be helpful information to follow. |
You can always be a gigolo. That uses your creativity. Here's part 1:
