Fish for eating? For a pet? I`m sure you could find an exotic fish for that amount, or a really large one. There are an incredible variety of fish at an incredible variety of prices. What fish? What size? |

From my refrigerator - chicken was 88 yen per 100g. Beef was 106 yen per 100g. Pork was 92 yen per 100g. Of course, it all depends upon the cut. These are all average bits. |
Thank you. I saw somewhere that had meat to be around 18 thousand yen per pound.
Oh what about earthquakes. I heard they are often. Are they bad or just barely noticeable. |

It is said that Japan has several thousands of earthquakes per year. However, most of them are too weak to be felt by man. Only the few big ones makes headlines each year.

I am going to do a degree in languages, so if I was to do it in Japanese, it states on most university websites that you get to spend a year in Japan. How does that work? Do you spend a year in a Japanese university furthering your Japanese there? Do you have to find your own apartment etc.? Or is everything sorted out by your university?
any help is muchos appreciated. : ) |
