To play in back country, skier need tonotification to the authority and imformed that the rescue cost will be charged.

It cost them 30,000 JPY per day people. and if they need 50,000JPY per day to run lift. In total, one accident cost them (and the skier involved) alomost 1 million JPY at least.

Even if you think you have enough skill in skiing, I do not recommend enjoy back country skiing.
