How have you been?

I came back home about 4 hours ago!

I found a lot of PMs, thank you!
Can you give me some more time to reply, please?
I will be very busy till the end of August.

I have also found 5 letters in our mailbox!

Some of them didn't write their Japan-Forum-names,

If you think you forgot to write your Japan-Forum-name on the envelope,
please pm again to tell me what is your envelope look like and
your real name, so I can tell if your letter has arrived.

Talk to you later
and
Have a lovely day!:ywave:

Interested

If you still have anyone between 20-30 who wants to write by post that'd be great :). I want to go to Japan and also learn Japanese while I'm in Australia.

I work at an English school in Japan.

We have 30 Japanese kids who would love to have
penpals from all over the world.

If you are interested, please
pm me first and tell me a bit about you.

then I will give you our snail mail address,
then start writing!

At the moment I received more than 50 pms but
received actual letters just 20 of them.

so you still have chance to have Japanese penpals!

We really think this is a very good way to learn the languages
and the culture, so we want only people who can actually
write to us.

just exchanging emails is the easiest way, but
not the best way sometimes.
It's very easy to get bored!Don't you think?

Exchanging actual letters with photos, some little gifts...
are more personal and funner!

Imagine when you find an airmail in your mailbox?

I got really excited when I got a letter from Australia for the first time!
That's the reason why I went to Australia to study English 3 years later.

and also...
If you are a student, please ask your parents if it's OK to join this penpal thing.
because you need some postal stamps for sending letters overseas.

Such a wonderful program. I've already sent you a pm. If the parent wants to write as well that's ok with me. I think it would be great to have a friend overseas who might be my age as well as having the chance to talk to a young child (they always say the sweetest things, don't they?) Can't wait to hear back from you. Have fun.

Yes, they showed me what they received from you.
Shinoe's mum found your letter was very difficult to read this time and
said would take more time to understand.

The Pokemon toys you sent them, they were surprised that they had the same ones.
They appreciated all gifts you sent, but they were also worried that you spent too much money.

They liked the photo!

Anyway, they will write to you so I shouldn't tell you what they said haha.

bye!

loveskyliemole 08-22-2008 07:50 PM

Thank you!

Thank you for pming me,
I have been trying to reply you all, but
there are many many mails, so please give me more time ?

To our new penpals who sent us the letters but haven't received any letters back from Japan,

Most of all the letters we received, one or a few students and their mothers are working on it. They are trying reading your letter but it's not easy to understand since they don't understand English well. So it has been taking a long time for them to "write" back to you.

But you will receive their letter one day (can be tomorrow or a month later, it really depends though)

When you received the letter from one of our student (your new Japanese penfriend), please pm me!

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
