Yeah, I think it's cool to want to go abroad for a 10 year old girl.
My students also say that they want to visit many foreign countries.
Last month we had a visiter (10 years old boy) from Australia, and we all had a lot of fun. So many of my students now really really want to visit Australia to meet him and koalas & kangaroos!

Why most kids at your school think it's dumb to want to go to Japan you think?

I like all sorts of Japanese food. I like sushi and takoyaki, but it's hard to find in England. I like cooking donburi, because it's easy. What Japanese food do you like best?

The kids and me were too busy to come here to read and reply this week.
One of our friends are leaving Japan for Sweden next week, so we were busy writing letters for him.

Our school is in Nagano. We had (actually still having) the quakes but not that big ones, so we are OK.
