My name is Dan, I'm 17 and i live in Germany.
Next june I'm gonna visit my friend in Osaka for 2 weeksand I'd like to know a bit more about Osaka and the region^^

May sound stupid or rude, but is not the whole point of your visit to Osaka and your friend thier to learn just what your asking here?

Aside from the obvious, I would say just Google "Osaka", Wikipedia is a good place for information also.
