Looking to talk to new people.

New to JF and looking to talk to people from outside the U.S. So, just in case my job sends me overseas I can ask what the area is like. And I have always enjoyed japenese culture and languege.

MartiniX 09-01-2008 06:40 AM

cutebabbii 09-01-2008 09:19 AM

how about australia? is there a possibility that u will come to do ur job here?

blkcat03 09-01-2008 11:38 PM

That would be great. Yeah I think I would be able to go to australia. As as the U.S. has any type of base there. So, What are you both intrested in. I like watching most animes and read about 6 manga titles. Naruto, yuyu hakusho, bleach, death note, yugioh gx, slam dunk. I wont be going anywhere for the next year though. I'm going thru the practical nurse course right now. How about you guys?

If you wanna know something about norway watch this:) YouTube - This Country Beats France
For my own experience I think norway is alittle boring, but a good county

blkcat03 09-03-2008 12:09 AM

lulu: I haven't been yet. But, one of my friends went and said that everyone there was really nice and helpful. And that the scenery was great.

ACN: That was a great video. I would like to go. But, it will be awhile before i travel again.

So, Let's start getting to know each other what does everyone like to do? And not just anime and j-stuff. Just talk about whats going on.
With me nothing much. Just moved to the washington d.c. area for school. Haven't met to many people. so, If anyone is around the area just pm me. And everyone else we can talk on the site.

lulu 09-03-2008 06:30 AM

Nah... I don't think that I need... Or at least that's what my grades say. =3 That's for school. I'm gonna start learning electric guitar. That's the only special for me this year.

blkcat03 09-04-2008 11:06 PM

That's cool. Bass?

lulu 09-05-2008 01:40 PM

Nah, I don't think so. It would be good too, but I prefer melody.

blkcat03 09-07-2008 11:25 PM

ok, So how was everyones weekend?

lulu 09-08-2008 07:20 AM

Mine was ordinary... but good! As long as I don't have school...

blkcat03 09-12-2008 12:24 AM

Mine was spent in baltimore. So, lulu are you into any sports? And what other things do you like to do?

lulu 09-13-2008 03:12 PM

I'm not into sports exactly... I'm practicing a korean martial art called Hapkido(and almost no one knows it T___T).

I like listening to music, hanging out with my friends, reading, playing PS2 'till the CD melts (X3), playing the piano who is ready to break from banging on it too much (XD) and riting stories. Actually, the one I'm writing is my first one and it can be considered as a whole book... It's over 150 pages and I'm not done yet... I believe that I'll reach 200 or more.

And you?

blkcat03 09-14-2008 01:13 AM

I like watching sports more than playing. I enjoy drawing, writing when I have a chance and the insperation. My muse seems to have left me awhile ago so the ideas have kinda dried up alittle. I exercise alot. Mostly running. Listen to music and about to start on Breaking Dawn which is the last book in the twlight series. Would youmind if I asked what your stories about?

lulu 09-14-2008 07:28 AM

My first one has characters from Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts (I was SO stuck that I couldn't thing of anything else but these guys >__>) and 2 other girs. The story: one girl meets with 2 people (FF char.) and goes to another world where she comes from (but she doesn't know it). She starts fighting evil, makes some evil guys good (something that will freak out other final fantasy fans) and falls in love with one of the good guys (at least... X3). They kinda make up. In the middle of the story, she learns that her family was killed when she was 1 year old and the only relatives remaining is one of her brothers and her cousin (I won't tell who are these. =p). She continues fighting not only to free the world from evil, but to take revenge for her parents and protect her friends.

The other stories... I'll see about it when I finish this one. X3

blkcat03 09-15-2008 01:38 AM

Sounds like a really good read. The story that im working on right now is about a guy who works for a finance company. And is put in charge of the charity donations. When he is looking thru the records he discovers that they have been funding a secret society. Through out the story he he keeps having dreams that he's in a sanitarium. It all ends with him waking up up in a padded room screaming. And the nurse that helps him is his wife. Who was part of the society, but he didnt know she was. If you want we can bounce ideas off each other. If thats ok with you.

michiru 09-15-2008 03:49 AM

Sounds REALLY interesting!!!!

I wouldn't have any problem bouncing ideas! ^^ For now, I'm a bit stuck but I think that I have a good idea to continue with my story...
You know... I don't think that I can help you very much with your story... I must read what you've written to help... That's the only thing that blocks the way.

blkcat03 09-16-2008 02:31 AM

michiru: I'm into those titles as well. Your welcome to join us any time.

lulu:Let me find where I put my writings. And I will pm you what I wrote.

michiru 09-16-2008 03:59 AM

Thank you for your response

Oh,you and lulu write stories.
If I can understand English well,I enjoy them, too.
But my English is not good...
It is so ashamed and sad.
I must study hard.
Bye!

lulu 09-17-2008 11:20 AM

blkcat03: Ok, no problem! But have in mind that I may not have much free time because of school.

michiru: I once made a topic in "Member Art & Creativity" called "My Story". It's only the 1st chapter. If you want to take a look, feel free to! ^^ And if you want to continue, send me your e-mail with a PM and I'll send you the 2nd part there! Same goes for blkcat03.

chocolate 09-17-2008 11:32 AM

hi, i am from DUBAI(U.A.E.).hope u will visit it some day.

kyo_9 09-17-2008 01:34 PM

hajimemashite..
I`m from Malaysia but currently studying in Japan..
nice to know you

blkcat03 09-18-2008 01:25 AM

Chocolate: The closest that I was to Dubai, was Kuwait and Iraq. It would be nice to see the rest of the middle east outside of work.

kyo_9: Nice to meet you to. What are you studying right now?

michiru: You shouldn't be ashamed that your grasp of english is not good. It takes time and practice to learn a new language. It's taken me 20something years to speak and understand spanish(I learned it to be able to speak to my mom's side of the family.) And I would be more then happy to help you with any trouble that you might have.

lulu: I tried opening the file on your story thread, but my computer wouldn't let me. I pm'ed you my email if you can send it there.

lulu 09-19-2008 02:36 PM

Don't worry, I'll make some small changes (remove some emoticons I used like an idiot >___>) and I'll send it there! ^__^
