New to Japan Forum and would like to make some friends

I am new to Japan Forum and I am looking to make some friends.
I would really,really like to make some japanese friends(like a lot of people on this site:).

Althought I would be happy making friends who like the same stuff that I do.

So if you like any of the following things; (F.Y.I. I like pretty much anything japanese, but here is a list of a few of my favorite things)

Gackt, J-rock, Manga, Video Games, Art and Japanese Cooking

I would love to be friends also! You can call me Eni, and I'm 18. I'm not japanese though =_=... but i love everything japanese! Manga, food, visual kei, video games, etc.

^.^ It shouldn't be hard for you to find people with the same interests as you on this website.

FYI 90% of people here are about as Japanese as Ben Nevis.

first thing i did when i came here was getting the posts to get your individual avatar ( you needed to right o.O dont even remember that clearly)

Yes, once again Shadow, I agree with you. I haven't found one Japanese person on here yet, but I don't think that matters. I'd love to have Japanese friends too, but it doesn't matter where you're from, I don't think. I think you should just be looking for friends in general :)

And if you're looking for Japanese friends, find an actual Japanese website for that.

I know they have cafes in Japan specifically for Japanese people who want to meet foreigners. How come they can't have the same here?

Cuz you wouldnt be able to get through the door for all the Naruto fans..

Making friends is easy so why do people have this massive hype about being friends with a japanese person? there no different from anyone else ya know.. Were all born equals in this world.

But in the end since there are lots of different cultures the kind of person and their thinking differs a lot ..
You must know that quite well .. imagine Japanese was your mother language ..

probably just due to the anime scene >_<

probably its the same for Japan as for Germany .. while Japan is the thing that comes to your mind first hearing the word manga .. for foreigners its Germany at Sourkraut ..^^ tho i bet other countries are eating it not less than we do ( and we dont really much..)

Wha? no? I'm a White English man whos lived in the same city all of his life.. I could speak only English until a year and notsolong ago.

Again with the people having trouble making friends thing, go down to your univisity student bar and start talking to the exchange students.

There are many japanese people on this website and they are some seriously cool dudes here if you dig hard enough past the naruto fanboys but why would they wanna talk to you if the first thing your gonna do is drool over them cause of what country they happen to have been born in?
