Run away, it's a newbie!

I was just messing around, but I am a n00b... sadly. Well, please let me introduce myself:

Name: Adriana (seriously)
Ethnicity: Mexican
Nationality: American
Age: old enough!!

I've had a fascination with Japan for as long as I can remember, my first anime was Sailor Moon (as was everybody elses in the '90s) & I got into J-pop when I was in 6th grade when I first watched X/1999 (X Japan's "Forever Love"). I have graduated from school in June & have been studying Japanese for about 6 years. I've only been doing it as a pastime at most, but I have since become rusty due to the fact that where I live at, there are no people who speak the lingo (I'm on my boyfriends p.c., I don't have a computer of my own.)

I'm just looking for someone to practice with I suppose... & someone to chat with while I'm waiting for my job applications to be checked. :smokingbear:

But by the looks of it, you don't know much Japanese at all, considering you've only done it as a "past-time"...

I can send you the book "Genki" if you want.

漢字たくさんを知っているか?

Between classes and looking for a job, I don't have much time... but I can certainly answer IMs and questions.
