You know The teachers that teach today 3d anim and art are all autodidact in this field.
of course you should have some drawing and plastic - sculpture talent and the will but thats all you need.
I dont want to make a publicity I think you should try
Lingtwave 3D its learning curve is extreme in comparision to Maya XSI
It doesent need any special knowledge to get the "tick" of it.

KEEP ON TRYING, It`s a beautiful job
I can help if u want

Sounds good ^-^ Thankyou very much, I will keep at it :D

NAaaaaa babe :D
None of those apps is new. I can say maya is the newest.
Lightwave:ywave: started back in the 1982-1983 Softimage XSI is a descendant of the famous Softimage 3D almost at the same time.
the same 4 3Ds MaX.

They dont cost really much if you compare what they`v costed before.
I think LW around 2000-3000 EU XSI the academic version around 4000 US
The same 4 maya

BUT. Its not the tool its the artist.;)

I`m thinking about the final look
Should I add a toony look it would save me a lot of texturing work, or a classic 3D look that would mean a lot of photoshop work.
What do you think people???

I think you should put a little work in it.
I dont think the toony look would fit on it. But you can copy your file and try each version^^ and we'll tell you which one is the best. xD

I think the classic style would be cool but you should stick with your own individual style. Great job btw.

The only reason I use blender is because it's free:D
