Violins were made to be played with a bow, classical guitars were not. The statement with the violin was pretty much useless. And no, you cannot sweep pick on a violin. Have you ever seen or tried to play a violin?

Oh lolz okay, well, I'm glad we agree on that. I never considered Steve Vai, or buckethead "shredders." Just because they're actually musical. I was referring to bands like Dragonforce, as you said. I'm just tired of kids obsessing over Children of Bodom -___-

I've seen and tried most common instruments.

And really? Jimmy Page used a bow even on guitars. And that worked, because it MADE a great sound, compared to shredding on classical ones, which is just 'clickclickclick'.

I second to this, Led Zep's guitarist is awesome, yep, bow on electric guitars work. :)

I play an instrument
 
I play the bass clarinet in my HS band. I'm the best in my section!! (I'm the only bass clarinet we have:D) But i also play piano, flute and french horn.
